The Body Shop's Vitamin E Sink-In Moisture Mask Review

I only recently found out that the Body Shop had individual face masks for sale, so of course, as a face mask addict I had to try some!

I was most looking forward to trying the Vitamin E Sink-In Moisture Mask as my face has been feeling a tad on the dry side lately and this product boasts "intense moisture replenishment" for all skin types.

Although it was the same price as the masks I usually get from Kit at Rexall, there is only 6ml instead of the usual 10ml. Still, as you apply this mask more thinly than a traditional face mask you can still get two applications from it.

The instructions say to apply a thin amount to your face and leave on for 10 minutes, then tissue off. However, the lady at the Body Shop told me I could put it on in a way similar to a night cream and go to bed with it on. That sounded appealing until I realized I am a pillow sleeper (beauty bad habit) and that wouldn't work for me. Instead, I just left the face mask on and went about my business until I tissued it off prior to leaving for work (about 2 hours).

This Face mask is more like a night cream or lotion than many of the facemasks I've tried- there are no hot or tingly feelings like there can be with other face masks. It is just soft, light, and refreshing. It has a light flowery smell that is pleasant and not at all overpowering

I think The Body Shop's Vitamin E Mask may become my go-to mask when my skin is feeling especially dry!

  1. Will add this face mask to my 'try it' list. My face gets dry during the winter months when I've outdoors.
